    Startup equipment leasing

Does anyone know of any lenders who will do startup equipment leasing for a restaurant with good rates. Merchant has great credit 750... A few equipment lenders I work with offer stArtup leasing but for 35% rates. She needs something between 10-15%. if you know of any lenders please pm me or let me know here.

Let me know if you come up empty. I have a fellow that I've sent a bunch of my equip leasing deals to that seems to do pretty well. He is a broker though and not a direct lender.

You'll never find startup restaurant equipment leasing for 10-15%, tell your client to take her unrealistic expectations and her good FICO down to Wells Fargo and put up the farm.

Well the merchant has an approval for 20% at Union bank. I've dealt with banks that have gotten those rates for a startup just the ones I use do not do restaurants.

Exactly. Restaurants have a 90% failure rate within the first 2 years. I'm sure Union Bank requires substantial collateral beyond the equipment being financed.

Just got the approval Union Bank went thru Marlin leasin. No collateral no deposit. Approved for 20k payback 28k for 24 months & 30k for 36 months. So not as cheap as she said.

That's about 40% APR, so someone sold her a 20% simple rate. Typical leasing guys.... ;-)

Yep, not 20%. And why is Union Bank brokering deals to Marlin? Makes zero sense.
