    Wow that can be a game changer. All the top tier merchants who do decent AMEX volume can probably qualify.

    "it will be the first processor to distribute American Express® Merchant Financing."

    Distribute is an odd word to use here. I'm interpreting such a partnership to mean that Amex will now be funding merchants based on all types of cards and Heartland will split the bankcards for them.

    Heartland stopped working with On Deck years ago, stating they refused to get into the "Usurious Cash Advance World".....how times have changed

    That sounds more likely, as AMEX likes to do their own thing with processing anyway

    This is an American Express loan product that's been around heartland just inked a deal with them to resell it- it is a low rate product and heartland has never paid it's reps commissions for marketing funding- they used to have a policy not allowing reps to market mcas or refer bz to mcas. Amex is a low rate product-
