It's already fallen below $12 this morning. Pretty brutal. Its IPO price was $20.

Note: I don't hold any positions in this stock and never have.

I know guys who bought this in the 20's and are hurt, but when you look at this company, what's going to happen over there to serve as the catalyst for the shares to double? Will there be some big new product out there to double the size of the industry? Will they take a much larger share of the existing market? Speculation can only drive the shares so high when you really only have one product and that product is sensitive to temporary things like interest rates....Their entire product line is dependent on a 'goldilox zone' in the small business climate that could change quickly, and I think the shares were priced at a level that reflected the best possible outlook for the company financially...that outlook was far too optimistic in my opinion.

the bottom line has been negative for consecutive years. the only reason for the valuation of the ipo and the stock shooting back up past $20 from the jan 29th low of $15 was hype and market sentiment, it's a new sector for investors and they had high hopes for a new area of investment but the bottom line is the bottom line and any real equity investor's decision is based on numbers & balance sheets - if they're not just scalping while riding the trend. take any other MCA company that has pulled a profit for three years, has their own platform, call them a technology based lending company that connects main street merchants to capital through technology and I can assure you the results would be a lot more positive. after all the hype, the truth came to light and investors are finally seeing they put their money into sub prime risk and very few equity investors want to take more hits after what happened in '08.

ONDK not profitable. Treading water. Not exactly what I would call a wise investment.

Down 8.5% as of 3:30pm today. Ouch

Whats everyones take on this? Do you feel its bad for our industry or indifferent? I really hope other companies look at the ONDK situation and rethink the idea of going public.

This is probably a good enough reason for CAN to hold off going public.
