Probably should have clarified lol, these aren't buy rates, these are the rates the client pays. We pay a 6% commission for 2nd position deals and 5% commission for 3rd positions on the funding amount. On a 1st we will give you a buy rate with a 20% commission of the spread, i.e if the client borrows 100k paying back 140k you will get paid 20% of 40k which is $8,000. No cap on funding amount on any position.

Why not just say same commission of 6% on 1st and 2nd positions instead of the long explanation that works out to the same 6%

Well it just so happens that on the example I used it works out to be the same, but it does not work out to be 6% for every deal, that's why I said 20% of the spread. So if you up sell the deal at a 1.35 or a 1.40 the commission works out to be higher.
