Just for the sake on entertainment, How would one rate an ISO? (Just to be upfront Cresthill Would never discuss a submitting ISO).
Number of submissions?
Quality of files?
Offer to closing ratios?
How they chat to my salaried underwriting department?
Default Rate?
How helpful they are they when we have a question regarding a bad file?
Renewals?
the list goes on and on....

Ugh. Everyone is looking for ISOs. It is completely obvious that most lenders utilize ISOs as resellers of their programs instead of having a direct sales floor to do so.
What if I told you trying to pick out the top 5,10, or even 20 blindly is the wrong way to go? Have you ever heard the saying you can lead a horse to water but you can't make him drink? This is the same situation, you can find ISOs but you can't MAKE them send you deals.
Unfortunately, there is no miracle way of doing so- but soon enough there will be an easier process (I am itching to press "GO" on this!!!)
BUT think about this- Why don't you as a FUNDER, go into promotions and explain your company and what you do and how you can assist these ISOs in helping them sell by making it easier to resell your program... then maybe, just maybe they will. You can't be just another Stack 1.40+ 6 month lender and expect everyone to utilize your money...Amanda Kingsley

Couldn't agree with you more. When lenders actually come in for an office visit - you have a chance to pick their brain, find out about a lot of benefits that are not found in their general uw guide, and determine which guidelines can realistically be bent/broken. Plus it gives the lender a chance to actually gauge the ISOs business. Can't imagine how many 2 man shops funding virtually nothing, put $2MM+ funded/month and 10 full time brokers on their application lol.
Long story short, if you want to pick up notable deal flow from a real ISO, go there in person. Save the template email for your next DF post.
