    “It’s a high-coupon asset that’s had very good returns for the short period of time it’s been around,” Edman said of P2P loans. “I don’t have reason to believe that’s going to change dramatically anytime soon, but there are bad loans out there.”

    I see bad loans in P2P all the time. I'm investing on 2 platforms now. People are getting approved for 3-5 year loans when they have less than 15k in annual income or they're unemployed. There's literally some mind-boggling things happening out there. One loan that I saw in particular a month or two ago was a borrower that wrote "Go F*** yourself* as a response to all the questions on the loan application. They got funded immediately...

    The algorithms and robots are in some ways already out of control.

    Whatever anyone's opinion of any financial market be it MCA, stocks, peer to peer etc. we are in a very interesting time all the way around and it is going to be very interesting to see how a lot of these markets unfold
