loaning based on equipment?
I have a restaurant, that has about 200k in restaurant equipment and he needs a quick 30-40k. He has an outstanding cash advance.
Anyone have any ideas on where I could get this done?
He would be looking to somehow leverage the money against the equipment. Like an equipment lease back?
Thanks

Restaurant equipment is usually a no go. Liquidation market is saturated with it from primary lease companies. Generally speaking, leaseback type financing requires a minimum liquidation value of each piece of collateral to be $10k or more. I've chased a dozen leasebacks last couple of years and only one funded (secured by heavy construction equipment)
