Sounds like a joke, but this really happened!
I will not be mentioning any specific names...
I had a conversation with company A, about doing a deal with company B. Company A's ability to generate leads was great. Company B wanted to save some money on customer acquisiton while Company A really was bored / fed up with the grind.
A deal was made. A funnel was built. All of Company A's leads would be fed into Company B directly for them to work.
After 3 months here were the results.
1,000 deals / leads were submitted.
7 submissions were funded.
1 company got screwed over...
The CEO of Company A tells me; "these guys can't close anything."
Said I, to myself - THEY CLOSED YOUR A$$ 1,000 TIMES BUDDY!!
