You really should not be saying this kind of stuff without giving any more details, at least give some information so they have the chance to respond.

on Feb 25th, 2015 we sent wbl a 100k deal through a World Business Lenders employee by the name of Rafael Salifu using email Rsalifu@wbl.com with a title in his email reading "senior financial specialist" and "world business lenders." He called us and mentioned that WBL had just bought and/or merged with Merchant Solutions Group / William Morrissey and that he was now employeed by WBL and to send him deals. It all appeared to check out. This forum has been very vocal and praising of the merger and Rafael's email was a WBL email and everything references WBL. On March 4th the deal was funded and we were owed $10,000.00. Shortly thereafter (about a week) we start asking for our commission and all of the sudden WBL says we dont know what you are talking about , who owes you that money is Mr. Morrissey ? what? then they fire this Rafel guy? then they tell us that this situation of lost commission has uncovered like 11 diffrent situations like ours? After many emails and attempts to contact WBL we finally heard from Mr.Brecker which stated that WBL will make it right and blamed Morrissey? that they dont know where the money is at.... Yet on this forum Morrissey and WBL go about like its all peachy !!!!!!! Who else is having this issue? are commissions at risk at WBL? the truth is WBL hasnt made it right and today a gentlemen by the name Gary (he says he is Brecker's boss) said sorry they have to try and sue billy for it ? We are lost and at this point just stating the facts, so we could get to the bottom of whats going on and make sure there are no more victims to this William Morrisey and WBL situation! whatever it is. (if someone gives me instructions on how to load emails into the blog , we will gladly share) so at the end lets shed light on this situation ! and speak up....... we are screwed $10,000 in hard earned commissions

jjjddd,
If this is true, did you call your Attorney? Start the litigation process if this is the case, being a Broker in 2015 has become harder by the day, so if a funder starts jerking someone around on paying them commissions that are due (especially large ones in the 5 figure range), then how are Broker Offices supposed to survive?
Again, not sure if this is true or not because people get up on these Forums and either flat out lie or act totally unprofessional seeing as though this is a Professional Forum. It's amazing at times.
If they jerked you around, start the litigation process, but if they didn't jerk you around and you are out here slandering their name, you could be the one in some legal trouble.

It sounds like WBL folded the employees of MSG into their company without doing any due diligence on the individuals or the different relationships they may have had set up with 3rd parties. It also seems like Rafael soon after the merger parted ways with wbl and has left them holding the bag for his shady practices
My question is was the deal funded on WBL paper or was it funded by a different bank? Also were you signed up with MSG as an ISO or WBL who is your ISO agreement with? I ask because depending on how you are setup with then dictate who you need to sue to get your money back.
On WBL it sounds like they desperately need to get their house in order because this makes it seem like they don't know what is going on under their roofJohn Celifarco

John, everything posted on here is factual... I have no reason to lie or bash. I wouldnt slander someone without the proper proof and back up. i refuse to be bullied by WBL or anyone else..... The answer is yes I have contacted my Attorney and we will file a lawsuit. 10k where i come from is allot of money ! If a thief in the street tries to take a dollar from me he better get ready to fight and thats just for a dollar. You better believe we are ready to fight for 10k..... We paid our inhouse Salesperson and we are out money on a deal that we relied on WBL's big name. Prior to informing the industry we gave them a chance to make it right but its clear its a joke to them. At this point people should know what is going on. They can if they want come on here and refute what we are saying or be straight on here as to what is really nhappening with WBL and Morrissey

J. Celifarco we submitted our paper to WBL and they funded it through Can Capital, hich we found out after the fact. Again the whole time we believed we where dealing with WBL, WBL employees, WBL email etc. etc. we never once dealt with MSG.... simple RAfael was or is or who knows an agent of WBL and his email clearly states so. It is clear we sent them our deal why wont they make right as they promised ? If they want to blame MSG privately and point fingers why are they all on here like all is good ? !!!!!!

With all the recent ISO acquisitions and revolving door of managers and sales reps, WBL is a company in flux. Nobody knows whether they're coming or going. I don't think WBL maliciously screwed you out of commission but this seems to be the fault of a rogue ex-employee. Regardless, the situation totally sucks...

I dont know why they wont and I am sorry you are in this ****ty situation but the reason I asked the question was because what you were explaining sounded like an employee going rogue getting a couple of deals funded then jumping ship with the commission. Now WBL is holding the bag and they dont want to pay. Again the question I ask is about the ISO agreement you have in place what company is it with?

jjjddd,
Yeah, sorry to hear about this man, I hope it gets straighten out. And yes, $10,000 is a lot of money, especially when you are trying to run an office on all commission, have to cover your overhead, and maybe have to feed a family.

Tucker correct this business feeds my family. If WBL aquired MSG, dont they have plenty of business they aquired that they could make the 10k right with... Why did they string us along did they think we wouldnt fight for this ? why did they promise to make it right, But do the opposite ? If an agent of mine makes a mistake or defrauds someone im responsible for it and that was there original position and then it turned into finger pointing saying Morrissey never paid them ! I dont know there business dealings thats between them but figer pointing is not for a professional organization. Own up to it make it right and go after who ever screwed you, period !

If your iso agreement is with WBL and you have email proof that this went through WBL to can capital then I dont see how you can lose. The proof is on your side. They got screwed by a rogue employee and in turn you got screwed. Ball is now in their court.. Good luck I hope this works out for you

i am still unclear as to how an employee screwed you over at WBL. Maybe since im still fairly new to industry. When a deal funds for an ISO doesn't the company send the check and pay the ISO not the rep the ISO was dealing with in that company? Does that mean the lender pays the rep full commission and its up to that rep to in turn cut a check to the ISO?

Maybe the rogue employee submitted the deal to WBL as an in-house submission. In that case he would receive the commission as a sales rep. Remember, he was a former Merchant Solutions employee so he was a rep. WBL probably never knew where that deal really came from. The rogue employee took his cut of the spoils and quit or was fired and left WBL to deal with the fallout.
