Yellowstone Capital Commercials
We produced some commercials for Yellowstone Capital.
Writing and directing these was awesome. Most fun I have ever had at "work."
You can view them by clicking here.
What do you guys think? Whats you favorite one?Last edited by JayBallentine; 07-22-2013 at 10:50 AM.

I give the overall idea an A+. Its a great way to try and use SEO and social media to drive leads. Just last week I spoke with someone who mentioned one of the big funders (not YS) and that he found out about them and our industry on YouTube.
The acting could be better and the execution isnt exactly "high end", but I do like the way you try to appeal to who our industry's customers actually are. This is solid for something you are using to put on YouTube, but obviously not intended for a TV commercial.

Definitely not for TV! The goal was to "make a connection with them" not "talk down to them."
We lost a mic on "Pete the Plumber" which lead to less than stellar audio so the quality wasn't there. However, this was shot in a professional studio (Rhianna, Jay-Z, and others have shot there). This was shot using the best equipment possible...
The editing in post was just silly.
I pushed these actors as hard as I could....Yellowstone-0718.jpgLast edited by JayBallentine; 07-22-2013 at 11:21 AM.

Correct...these are intended to target who our customers really are!

Dynamite Disco Danny IS FUNNY! But I would have wanted to see Isaac and his notorious hand shakes with one of the people. . .
