Funders who can use bank login w/o statements
Hi everyone. I have a client who is so technically unsophisticated that obtaining bank statements is going to be an issue. Are their any funders that can just use their banking login to underwrite without statements? Thanks

Don't have it yet. Just planning for worst case possibilities on this one.

Most funders would prefer to have the login and see real time data as well as take the guess work out of if they are fraudulent or not. I would recommend not just disclosing the merchants bank login to just anyone. There are companies out there that provide a link so that the merchant can log in and have his statements sent back to the funder.
Make sure you protect your merchants info as not everyone on here that states they can help you or fund the merchant is a reputable company.

Hey Christian - Have you asked the merchant to call or go into his bank and have the bank fax/Email the statements directly to you?

I would always prefer login instead of the actual statements. Makes things a lot easier. Some ISO are willing to spend the coin on every client to do a Decision Logic link instead of them sending in their actual statements.

Some are missing the point here. If the client is being described as challenged to even get the statements, how do you think they will fare with Decision Logic? I think the best bet would be that you get the bank login, if possible, and then login and obtain the statements yourself and then supply the funding source the docs rather than the log in until requested otherwise.
