If you have indirect and direct the same pricing to sell deals, than it's a fair game. Otherwise, the resellers are at a disadvantage selling to the same business.
It's about who submits the application first, the broker or the inside sales guy? If the inside sales submitted it first then they are the ones pricing it, if the broker did then the broker is pricing it. If the broker prices it at a 6 month 1.18 then that's also On Deck Capital's quote to the merchant, the inside sales team can't steal the lead and reprice it at 1.15 because it's first come, first served.

or if the deal doesn't get sold, they use drip marketing and resell at < 1.15

Because like it or not, they are an industry leader with a lot of growth potential and the stock price reflects that optimism. I wouldn't be trying to short this stock at all or you'll get your ass handed to you.

Originations only up 83% (I say only as the expectations were higher), refis are included in originations. Reduced the BD debt expense to 7.2% which is fine-provision is 10.5%.

    Key quick takeaways:

    1. Effective yield down from 41.2 to 36.7 (4.5% decrease) Cost of funds decreased from 9.3 to 5.1 (4.2%).
Yield decrease greater than reduction of cost of capital.

    2. 15+ delinquency ratio up huge! 7.2 to 8.4.

So who's going to step up from the forum and ask Noah and Howard a question on the earnings call? We hear from Deutsche Bank, Bank of America, JP Morgan.... blah blah blah. How about some questions from the real street?
