    Spot on Isaac!
It's not like their default rate can be materially reduced at this point or their cost of capital will get any cheaper.
I don't see how they can turn a large profit unless they can cut SG&A significantly or increase their rates.

Tar, they will slowly do a little of both

On Deck already went through this slow progression form 12 month, 1.09's in 2007, to 6 month 1.25's in 2014. They can issue paper cheaper now, because they don't have to pay ISO's, but the default rates will force them (as will shareholders) to raise the rates to (at least attempt) to show a profit.

BTW (and Isaac you know this), some insiders on the On Deck IPO will be looking to sell shares at first chance, which I believe is coming up next month

Hasn't been fairing well since Goldman announced their entrance on May 4th. Very interesting times ahead for both OnDeck and any future IPO'S in our sector.

All I know is we have submitted over 25 deals in the last 3 weeks, and gotten three approved and one funded. Not a great track record. Certainly not like it used to be.

Lending Club and On Deck Stocks Too Rich to Buy

The two online lenders have different models but similarly high priced shares. If the price comes down Lending Club is the best bet.

Just did a$250 k deal with them. Auto checkout. Took 6 hours from submission to funding. Stock might be down, but they are super easy to deal with.
