I'm going to call bull**** on this one. My guess is, this is an AWS style promotion where they offer some level of discount codes to attendees. I could be wrong, but I'm going to say that this is something like the way Lyft used to sponsor every tech event by offering free rides for new customers etc.

For what it's worth "The Funders Forum" or "Brokers Expo" etc have no affiliation to Broker Fair or this Forum. They're a different group of people that made close sounding names. Amazon is not sponsoring the real Broker Fair.

Funder Forum / Broker Expo feels entirely manufactured. The language is soulless and full of corporate bull**** jingoism

I’d like to see in what capacity Amazon is a sponsoring them. It wouldn’t surprise me if there was some actual backroom manufacturing going on. It also wouldn’t surprise me if the entire thing is a misrepresentation to make it look bigger than it actually is and like it isn’t a gong show.

Yup, this is what I was saying. They took some type of affiliate program and are claiming that they were sponsored. I could not find any information online from Amazon stating that they were sponsoring this event.
