    perhaps big funders have been changing their risk parameters significantly in 2024 & the end of 2023, being that economic outlook & lending environment are very fluid things...

    or they're just "going downhill"

    Perhaps behaviors have nothing to do with the current state of the market. So yeah, going downhill is accurate.
