Everest - Stuck In Final Review

Does anyone know what's going on at Everest/Vader? Deals have been getting stuck in final review for over 3-4 days now.

That is very strange, we had a deal fund yesterday morning and one die in final over there about an hr ago. Everything was moving somewhat slowly, but nothing like that.

They are definitely slower then normal, had a deal sign contracts early Friday, Monday all day in review, finally get funded today this AM. I heard they just moved to a new space, at least their sales side, so not sure if that along with seasonal trends had any impact.

Just heard from multiple brokers that EBF fell off for no legitimate reason today in final review.

Couple of brokers I work with have been saying the same.

If you're looking for a new home, we generally beat out Everest on $$$

Hit me up, happy to chat.

Consider this of an outlook of how bad Vader and EBF have been lately.. Our last 15 signed deals only 2 have closed. The rest died in Final.. Not mention they were all quality SIC'S, mechanic, Wholesale, manufacturing, and even a dental office.

Are these clients looking for working capital or equipment? If it's equipment I'd be happy to see what I can do to get them funded

EBF lost the edge when they dropped max points from 15 to 12

Vader is more useful than EBF

15 pts was crucial. So sad. Who is competing with EBF for you rendering them less useful?

It depends, all the usual suspects but mileage varies by how much they like your ISO.

Funding Metrics has always been good to me, Forward, I have a good ISO Rep at Delta, Fox is good when they want to be, Velocity CG can compete, Greenbox on their riskier paper, Rival are cool if you've worked with FM a long time in the past and they know you, Zahav are good on the riskier side of the Everest wheelhouse. Vital Cap competes as well but on the better side of the wheelhouse, they wont approve the low spectrum EBF type deals more often than not

Paper quality, position number, deposit count definitely are a factor, still need to abide by the boxes

A 110-130 day deal you have so many options now, plenty of smaller Funders that can do the same approvals if you have the relationship

Vader is still the baby deal GOAT. Wish SuperFast was still doing micro deals JOE

I am not Everest or Vader, but from a funder's perspective, it's the time of the year where a lot of files die in final review because of revenue. People closing up for vacations, potential impacts from weather for outdoor businesses up north. Of course if it's other reasons, a lot of it can be avoided by underwriting up front. But we have seen quite a few files die for the aforementioned reasons.
