The FCC is Here to Kill off Businesses in 2024 - and They Will Succeed.

Pretty sure this action will spell the end for a lot of ISO's, brokers and lead companies.

Essentially buying data will get you in a lot of trouble come next year when the new FCC rules are put in effect.

If you don't have 1 to 1 consent the TCPA lawyers can go after you, the government can request that carriers shut your phone numbers down and block you from making calls.

If you buy data, 2nd hand packages or any "leads" you don't get directly on your site or directly through the marketplace who generates it you can find yourself in a world of trouble next year.

If you work old data now and want to survive in to 2025, youll need to figure out how to make live optin leads work for your business, the data streams will die off, or become toxic to your business, see how many got wiped out by 10DLC, this will be bigger if youre not ready for it.

Bound to happen sooner or later....regulating MCA's coming too...

When they regulated the mortgage business everyone left but the professionals.

So now when someone buys a "lead" from your company the merchants won't complain that they received 15 calls since filling out the web form?

If they opt in to 15 calls they will get 15 calls.

they also get 15 calls because some guys call 5 times each in the first 5 minutes of getting it from 5 different numbers, so that might be why

Maybe once regulation goes after people but not until then. I have a burner number since like 2018-2019 & I used it to put my number everywhere as a merchant looking for cash to see how the competition was marketing. I am still receiving phone calls & text messages weekly. The number is on DNC & I havent used that number since then.

    Business-to-Business Calls:
Most phone calls to a business made with the intent to solicit sales from that business are exempt from the Do Not Call provisions.

I am going to hire an attorney and start suing all these ISOs who keep calling me and texting me. Might make some money
