On Friday, 23andMe announced that hackers accessed the personal data of about 14,000 individuals.
But it turns out there were a lot of “other users” who were victims of this data breach: 6.9 million affected individuals in total.
That's roughly half of 23andMe’s total reported 14 million customers.

I know someone in the finance community that got hacked by "helping" another broker with one of their deals. He asked for the broker, whom he did not know well to submit a financial package to his portal. It was loaded with malware and the unknown broker was able to obtain all the data stored on his system.
