Most funders that do stack positions will not payoff anyone so if there is room you may get a 5th position. To payoff the 100k he would need to qualify for 200k with most funders having a 50% net rule. With most funders on first position depending on the length of the term may cap at 10-15% of the monthly gross which may not get him to the 200k mark. The merchant pretty much put himself in this position by listening to these brokers and taking 4 positions and now trying to get himself bailed out. If there is room for a smaller 5th position i might be able to do that and after a few months of pay history and he does not renew with the other 4 companies and take other positions behind me we can look to payoff some of the other balances to get into first position. Once he does that my first position deals work like a line of credit where we just add new money to the back of the old and week keep the payment the same and he uses the new money before he starts paying for it.
