Interesting that brokers are sponsoring event. Is that how they got into the broker battle? Did all contestants pay? Just curious how it was picked?

Only 1 contestant works for a sponsor and none of them paid. It was narrowed down from a field of 50+ entrants based upon written submitted pitches.
