I have a client needing a relatively short term loan (12 - 18 months) on rare Burmese Jadeite, GIA appraised at $45MM. Looking for $10MM of which $2MM will be used to purchase an investment property in British Columbia that will be owned free and clear and will be included as collateral. The gems are stored in a secure vault and will be held as collateral for the lender. A lesser amount may be considered. Yes, I know, this is a bit outside the box, but the value is there. A complete package is available, including the appraisal.
