A default who got removed from DataMerch and courts

I have a merch who was listed as a default on DataMerch and on NY courts. He got it removed from DataMerch, not just noted, but removed entirely, his TAX ID no longer comes up.. He claimed it was a mistake and must be right because it's gone.
On NY Courts the case appears, but last entry is a Stipulation of Discontinuance. (Agreed to by lender).
He has the payoff letters and it appears it was paid off according to contract terms.

Question: Will anyone fund him if they previously said he was a default? Does any of the above actually matter? Or is it still only high risk (which he won't take 30 days)?

    Thanks

Plenty lenders out there that would take a bite at this. We need more information on the borrower though. What's the industry and the revenue for starters?

Pending that story is accurate and the deal qualifies for more than high risk deals overall, you shouldnt have a problem getting a normal approval here

^^Agreed. obviously if placed incorrectly you will get more 30-day deals here than normal offers. If its accurate that the merchant paid in full & didnt settle for less there are plenty who should give a normal approval.

East shore would be my go-to with something like this. Lifetime as well! (if its a big file lol)

east shore asks for more stips than a conventional mortgage lol and a left nut as collateral
