    Shady could mean many things......

You can state what your suspecting and maybe we can validate or debunk it.

Never experienced anything negative with them besides their automated email system which is completely ****ing wonky

I've worked with them on and off for years and never had any issues, good B Paper
Heard backdoor rumors but most brokers are dumb ****s and think them not controlling the merchant equates to a funder backdooring

Do you syndicate with them? Of so, any feedback? What do you mean their email system?

I have not, their automatic notifications for follow ups, deal progress, etc is weird

I'm not pleased with what they said in the Bluevine thread since their answer equated to "you're crazy we dindu nuffin :^)" so I've used them sparingly since

    Anyone doing syndication with fundkite?

  7. #7
did you syndicate with them? I have, its been fair so far. Roughly been a year and over 500k total. I did have a few larger losses so i stick to smaller amounts per deal now.

They're a broker. Used to submit to us. Nothing shady happened though.

So they definitely used to be a broker, and yes they definitely used to white-label Yellowstone for their high-risk deals. However, I think that most funders at some point or another also used to be brokers, and most funders still have brokers working for them, whether or not it's a different operation or not is a different issue at hand ("gesheft").

They used to advertise being direct and having no salesteam. But all their stacks were full white labels through yellowstone. They likely syndicated a % amount on those deals. Around this time they were funding reverses mainly w/o ysc's platform. Now they're funding direct, after initially misrepresenting themselves, which a lot of new funders do.
