I believe they are both owned by Whetstone Partners LLC- (Scott Crockett seems to be the principal). Looks like they got their start and did pretty well in the auto title loan business.

Thank you Isaac, you are correct. Whetstone is the parent company and Fast and Everest are two separate companies with two different underwriting departments.
Both companies provide great service and are extremely competitive on ACH/MCA deals. To set up a relationship with Fast Business Funding please e-mail me directly at Steve@FastBusinessFunding.com
We fund within 24 hours of receiving a signed contract and pay very competitive commissions next day.

I'm just trying to figure out who to send business to... I called Everest to sign up and they had me call Saffer's Fast Business Funding, who I am already signed up with.... That just lead me to believe it's the same house - not necessarily any difference in deals... Also, am I correct that FBF is one of the in-house funders at Yellowstone? Therefore, can't necessarily take deals w/ Yellowstone to Everest or FBF if it's all the same place. That's why I am asking.

And apparently they also have the same design guy:

Everest sent you back to FBF because when they pulled you up in their system, they saw you are already signed up with FBF. For all practical purposes consider them the same company. Everest/FBF is NOT Yellowstone, so you can submit Yellowstone deals to FBF/Everest, and vice versa.

That is not the case, you can submit to both companies if you would like to. FBF/Everest's pricing on deals is not the same and for that reason you will receive different offers from both companies. Quickfunder, I am not sure why you were sent to FBF if you asked to sign up with Everest, maybe it was a miss-communication. Also, to clear up the last question, we do business with Yellowstone but are in no way an "In-House Funder" for Yellowstone and have our own office in Midtown NYC.

OK - so as I had thought, for all practical purposes, they are the same company... Just want to make sure - thank you.

It is true that we do a ton of business with both FBF and Everest anf they treat us with absolutely incredible customer service but we have no official association and they are not an in house funder of ours.

Definitely two different companies, submitted a deal to both yesterday, one declined due to industry, the other gave a nice offer, big fans of both.

Pretty good strategy, after all those 51 complaints on whetstone on the BBB and around the web.. It doesn't take any peanuts to change the DBA to a different cleaner version..
LOL guys.
