Anyone relying on court cases as their proof of being direct is probably a broker. Court cases are unreliable as evidence of anything. Plus, which courts did you check? New York, Florida, Utah, California, Texas, Connecticut, New Jersey, Massachusetts, Federal?

There are lenders who lend in states other than California but I get your point. Let's ask him if he does loans or MCAs first.
