    Need help

every time I send out a deal my merchants somehow get a bunch of calls from brokers 30-60 min later. I understand its not suggested to have too many funders but sometimes I need an offer from a B or C paper funder when A declines or vice versa. I try to keep it down to like 3-4 funders but sometimes I just need to shop it out to 4-5 more. no matter how many times I try and put a number on the app, the bait doesn't work. backdoor shops became too smart for that.

Here is a list of funders I am signed up with, If you guys have had a clear situation of them backdooring right away, please let me know (I already know that some of the A lenders have a sales team but at least they give you the courtesy to wait 30 days before calling)

    TVT
    Credibly
    Balboa
    Kapitus
    Lendr
    Fora
    Pirs
    IOU
    Smart Step
    Forward
    Wall
    Rapid
    VOX
    EBF
    Pearl
    Fundfi
    Highland Hill
    Delta bridge
    E Advance
    ACE
    Capitalize
    Splash

I have never seen a shop leak backdoors harder than Splash. Someone at that company desperately needs to plug the leaks because every time someone is buying packs half of them are Splash apps

    If that helps

I don't wanna be that guy, but the odds are, if it's happening every time you send out a submission, it's more likely someone in your office.

When I was processing I used to mark deals that the merchant received calls from brokers right after submitting, that way the next time it happened I could cross reference with the previous deals to find the common denominator funder. You find the common denominator you halt subs to that funder for a few days and see if it still happens

I have about 100 subs a day going out it would be nearly impossible to track something like that also since the merchants are hard enough to get to take a deal these days, let alone giving me their phone activity since other brokers are promising them the world so they end up blocking my guys anyways

But where are these subs coming from?

    Are they leads?

I'll bet money at least 25 brokers have that list.

How do lead companies make money? They sell the same leads.

Of course, I always assume merchants are not loyal but if I have a renewal that I am working on and have known the guy for years then out of the blue I shop him and he suddenly gets 30 calls, the answer is not my leads for the most case

Nobody wants to do it but a minute spent now (when your rep finds out, he tells the processor) is thousands of dollars saved and into your pocket

That's your initial claim, not just your renewal.

I believe a soft pull is an immediate trigger lead that can be sent quickly.

Your issue wont be resolved quickly.

I'd recommend properly educating your Merchant and setting the right expectations for what would arise.

likely scenario, but backdooring would be more realistic given that one of the merchants sent me a screenshot of a text showing the broker sending her a pic of my app

Only if it's coming from within your own office, right?

I see we are not on your Funder list as of yet to fill that B-C space. We would love that opportunity to fund your deals.
