So Steve, you just try anybody and anyone? Jett was called out on this forum recently. Lemon - we know nothing about them other than they had one post on DF.

I'm not against sending trial files, you gotta start somewhere. However, to the newbies here, I would not recommend giving them your thumbs up stamp of approval until you are sure that these funders actually fund and didn't steal the deals. That's not content we need or want. I sent trial files to many funders over the years, and was pleasantly surprised and only once I found out that they were as honest as they are, now I have no problem sending them files (if I was focused on MCA) or tooting their horn here or if someone asks me for a contact over there to give it to them.

I've gotten offers from Jett and have a reliable source about them.....but yes who knows.

Lemon I just reached out for the first time and will see.

Small files and testing the waters.

Sure - everyone should do due diligence.

    Defaults have limited options.

Nobody should be sending financial and personal information about a prospect they do NOT know.
