To maintain a clean reputation and avoid being flagged as "Scam Likely," it's essential to understand the behaviours that carriers monitor. Below I listed practical tips to help you mitigate the risk of being marked as spam and maintain a positive number reputation.

    Allow Calls to Ring:
    When making outbound calls, ensure that you let the call ring for a reasonable duration before terminating it. Abruptly ending the call too quickly can be perceived as suspicious behaviour by receiving carriers.

    Be Mindful of Call Duration:
    If you use answering machine detection in your dialing process, be aware that short-duration calls may trigger suspicions from carriers. Such behaviour can be associated with telemarketers. Aim to strike a balance in call duration to avoid unnecessary flags.

    Monitor and Rotate Your DIDs:
    Depending on your dialing strategy, certain numbers may experience a higher call volume. It's crucial to monitor these DIDs closely. If you notice a significant number of calls concentrated on specific DIDs, consider rotating or swapping them out periodically to distribute the load evenly.
