With that much revenue and time in business why did he only get 100k. Does the first position funder know that the merchant is looking to stack right away.

I hope he defaults and your commission gets clawed back for being a shining example of what's wrong with this industry.
This would be double funding. Some people, many who closely monitor this site, are just fine with this but its built into contracts and iso agreements.

The 1st position could sue the merchant, default, cut you off and claw back your commission.
But you have all these shady funders wanting to double-fund this deal.

How am I what is wrong with the industry? So what is you suggestion? Walk away and have someone of the else fund them a 2nd? they needed 200k I got them 100k they called and asked for more. Said other lenders have been calling them nonstop. They are going to take the money from someone. Please advise what I should have done?

Responding to an old thread....why do they need that much money? If it's equipment financing, get an equipment loan rather than a very expensive MCA. Secondly when a very high risk industry needs that much money, you have to look into how in the world are they running their business as they really need accounting services. I just talked to one of my SBA lenders who will no longer fund trucking...said 20% of their portfolio is trucking and many are defaulting....which I would claim is an underwriting problem for them.
