PSA-Do your homework and protect yourself, your company, and clients.....
Every day people come onto this forum and ***** about being screwed by a "funder" or broker. Every day people post requests for funding a deal and people chime in without disclosing in what capacity they are wishing to "help". The admins can correct me if I am wrong here, but I believe that are you solicitating business on the forum you should be disclosing in what capacity you are operating (broker or funder). You should also be disclosing your FULL contact details.
I realize it is almost impossible for the admins to police every post and every thread. It's up to YOU to be the first line of defense.
If anyone responds to your request for funding or help IGNORE them if they are not willing to disclose in what capacity they are operating and they give their FULL contact details. Before you interact....DO YOU HOMEWORK!
Lastly.... NOBODY should be sharing ANY financial/personal information about a prospect or client with ANYONE they don't know!Kevin Henry

And they have full contact information in their signatures if they are serious lenders or brokers.

Having full contact details in your signature does NOT make anyone a serious broker or lender. It IS a requirement of the forum when soliciting business. It's up to users of the forum to do their own homework to determine if they should do business with anyone.
I will say it again........ NOBODY should be sharing ANY financial or personal information about a prospect/client with ANYONE they don't know. Even if that person has a signature in their response.......Kevin Henry

Steve,
I am familiar with at least 4 people from this forum that used signatures in their emails.....
-1 is still in prison for fraud
-2 recently got out of prison for the same
-1 has been banned for life from FINRA for stealing client money
It's amazing what you find out about some people on this forum if you do a little homework. There is a "funder" who recently joined using a full signature. If you google her name you will find her mug shot.....Kevin Henry
