Short term deals. Similar to Bitty on term and dollar amount (without the 1.65 rate paying 6% BS). They mostly a broker who fund their own deals on balance sheet and the other deals they send to everyone else like every other broker. Assuming they have some ISOs that submit to them. Pay 10% on deals last I know of.
they pull as IMS in the bank statements if you ever seen that before.

they offered me a job, it was salary plus commission. $20/hr for 40 hours and then there was a revenue threshold of $12,500 I had to bring in before I even made any money on commission. After the threshold, it was 25% to the broker who closed the deal. And the hiring manager told me none of their brokers were even going above the revenue threshold to be given the opportunity to make more money on top of the ****ty base they're offering. What is 41k going to get you in NYC? ****ing nothing. There were 3 rounds of interviews. The 2nd round was with the Owner, Oleg Rud (he also defaulted on credibly in 2021 for 187k lol). He looks at my iphone and says "sell me this phone." What are we in wolf of wall street here? Then I get a text later from some other guy named Michael Pennartz "because you refused to sell Oleg the phone, we cannot put you in a manager position and you will have to prove yourself." This is a company that I'm sure does well for the owners and partners but if you're a broker looking for a job, don't apply here unless you want to live in poverty.

Unfortunately same crap, different name. It never ends. Good news that it will all go away over time with regulation and tightening lending - these types will be gone.

Imperial Offer1.jpg
This is the offer they sent me. It's an absolute joke considering the brokers aren't going above their quota.

I had a friend who worked here several years ago and the stories he told me about his place and how they treated him was beyond what anyone deserved to go through. He then dug up some dirt on one of the owners and asked him about it (idk if these are the same owners or not) and he fired him on the spot (I guess that verified it to be true?)

I know Oleg very well. Not surprised about the phone thing but that is odd to say the least. Since you were asking about Imperial I only talked about the funder/broker end since I figured thats what you wanted to know. I have seen their operation, maybe things changed since I saw it but your comments about 12,500 threshold and no one hitting it is concerning. Dont think it was like that when I visited but definitely concerning.

what's the going pay for a loan specialist? assuming they were going to feed you leads all day vs you cold calling all day as well? did you really think being an inside sales guy with leads (which cost an enormous amount of money) were going to be handed to you for a $100K salary? As far as the $12,500 is that the revenue off deals you fund you have to hit before you get 25% of the commission? Meaning you fund $150K @ 8 points you have hit $12K in commissions and now you can earn 25% as an example ? At least your guaranteed $40k there are shops that pay zero and you only get 25% of the revenue split. the "sell me your phone" is comical. inside sales guys come and go in this industry often even with the largest funders. many take the deals, start their own shops after. it's really a ****show and a fine balance on the right compensation and other perks to keep quality sales professionals onboard

First off, this is NYC, 20/hr is practically unlivable in this city but that can be a different convo. I later found out by another person that this was a cold calling only position and they are not "feeding" me deals all day. I'm not expecting a 100k salary. I'm expecting to be treated honestly and they were doing everything but that. They lied about their salary range on Indeed. I wasted my time with 3 bull**** interviews just to get a minimum wage offer. Like I said in the previous post, the hiring manager said no one is hitting the commission. It'll cost more to come in to the office to work at this pay rate. Now I actually found a good shop that pays me 40% commission and has a great lead source. Imperial advance is betting on inexperienced people to take the job so they can be taken advantage of while Oleg and Michael profit on the less fortunate. They offered 50% health insurance at 90 days. Great so all my salary is going to the MTA, food and health insurance without even making a commission. That place is a joke and should not be taken seriously by anyone looking for a job.
The hiring manager told me they were only doing small deals, like 10-20k and not at a large volume. It's beyond me how they can keep their lights on or pay for that office. They had like 20 desks set up and planned on hiring a ton of people but only 2 people on the sales floor. It was a very suspect look to say the least.

When I was around 24 years old and still living at home I got a call back for a telephone sales position. The woman asked me questions about my experience, then out of the blue her voice got low and she sternly said "I want you to sell me that pen in your hand". My parents were close by, and she caught me off guard so I basically blew that off, I didn't even have a pen in my hand. She said we'll let you know. Needless to say I never heard back from her. I then applied at the same company through another supervisor a few months later, got the job, and ended up being the top sales rep out of over 50 reps. That other supervisor ended up being know as a whacko there, which she was.
