Lightbulb What's the worst offer you've ever seen?

What's the shortest term, highest factor rate piece of garbage that you've ever come across? And who was the lender?

$20k deal paying back $999/day for 60 days. Yes, a 3.0 sell rate. Not sure what the fee or broker commission was.

Are you asking about scam deals, or real deals? Plenty of 1.499 with 20 points going around. $200,000 contracts, netting $160,000, all done through Hybrid/MNS/Brickstone/Safe Vault

Sadly, this is going to back fire... its just a matter of time before regulators make a move on the bad actors. its just the way the system works eventually they succeed when the perfect storm of merchants have enough.

I remember the days of 80/20 stated income loans for purchases - 100% financing with no documentation.

Look how well that turned out in the mortgage industry in 2008.

    Eventually everything catches up...

7k 1.49 20 days ... with 5 ach auth sheets from all different funders to collect. There's a level of "low" anyone should stoop to in order to do this but it happens.

Merchant netted 52000 to payback 112,425 at $2000 daily.
Needless to say, he stopped the payment after exactly 26 payments.

For the record, Tru Capital in Melville had nothing to do with the deal. We found out who was using the name and did what we had to do since it was former relationships that turned sour and they were using the name on purpose. We sent an email to all lenders we deal with separating ourselves. That Tru Capital was based out of CT from our research and Ameriquest also wasn't the ameriquest out of Melville. All it of linked back to Zahav asset management. We were fielding calls for MONTHS.
