I have a client who over the last 4 months revenue has been decreasing, he is under a Firm-Fixed-Price (FFP) contract with the Defense Advanced Research Projects Agency (DARPA) to demonstrate a new kind of electric motor for UAVs and the payments are irregular, so that is the reason for the reduction in revenue for the last few months.The 95k is for new lab equipment. Dec was 100k Jan was 70k Feb was 80k Mar was 13k, so very significant drop but merchant has 700+ Credit. Looking for a traditional deal either a line of credit or term loan and is willing to secure it. If that equipment is prep work for a GOVT contract - A lender will front 30% of the value of the contract... sort of like a factor on a contract not yet delivered? I assume he has the Govt contract? What is the value of the contract? Will 30% of the contract cover the amount?? ... Lender is a bank so we only get 2% so its not a MCA deal. Cheers.

Plan B would be a 2 year note - LOC - (1) needs a 10K average bank balance (10%) - and (2) - What were Gross sales in 2022. (3) His recievables cannot already be factored out...

Anyhow that is all that comes ot mind ...besides Steves excellent idea of leasing...if the lab equipment is not too wierd?

Maybe a mix of LOC and the lease??
