Our guidelines/box very simply is we like to work with the medium-high revenue merchants that have good pay history. We are typically most aggressive on C paper.

how are you an underwriter and iso rep? sales and underwriting cannot comingle and keep bad debt low. sure, you can tell your UW the offer sucks they put out or what you need on your isos deals, but, to UW your own ISos deals seems like a conflict of interest

To clarify I have my own book of business with the ISO's I work. There is no conflict of interest when underwriting my own deals because I get every final offer approved by my head underwriter. And if I need a bump or push, I go back to the head. The only reason I am mentioning the underwriting side of things is I believe it's a very positive skill to have for my ISO's, I can give them quicker approvals.

Lets me get this straight, you underwrite the deals you sell yourself? So I would assume you ask for more bumps than a coke addict?

You're clearly not seeing the conflict of interest here. You really can not do both. By underwriting, you could mean that you check the address, ID, Social, EIN, and NY court records. That's basic scrubbing 75% of brokers don't do. You could just be that 1 in the other 25%.

@Isaac Wise just my 2 cents, stop wasting your time posting on this forum. You will either get blasted by bored lurkers who do nothing all day or maybe you will signup a crap ISO's who will only send you 5k defaults. Slate has a decent name in the business. Your are scraping the bottom of barrel by hoping to get something done on here with someone.
