7 different people have told me they are getting bought out by Retail capital
I wonder if all their key iso people will leave after the transaction
or will 10 mini pearls pop up the day after the deal closes

I think everyone has heard the same rumors but nobody seems to know any details. Either not true or whoever is buying them is keeping quiet. Just think that if it was true whoever bought them would have put out a press release or something.

If you define kings as being the most profitable in the industry then probably yes...

pearl sale
There's a bidding war between Ringling Brothers and Cirque de Soleil because millions of dollars in pending litigation is hilarious

Bizloanbroker, I don't expect you to get a response. Another rumor chucker who runs away. Anyone on this thread actually know anything or just 3rd, 4th or 5th position information?!

From what I understand, it was a major investment into the company, not a sale. I don't think Abe and Meir are going to retire and sip Mojito's and Mai Tai's on a beach.

I have no idea what's going on with these pearl rumors one way or another but I will say that a major investment can be a sale. A sale doesn't necessarily mean 100% of ownership transfers or that the former executives walk away and retire. If a majority stake changes hands, that's a sale.
Some of the acquisitions in this space have caused executive casualties but overall, top guys seem to be sticking around to run their businesses even after acquisitions. They tend to have the relationships that the companies rely on for survival and growth. Generally speaking, it's risky to just kick that to the curb.

Someone once said that they are the most profitable company out there, on a per deal basis. I do not know if that is actually true, it may or may not be. What I do know is that Pearl as a company requires its inhouse agent to return the full commission on any deal that goes bad, as long as it is under 75% paid off. So if they did a 6 month deal, if 4 months into it the deal goes south, the company clawbacks the commission.
