Scams are rampant these days industry needs to start taking collective action. Would love to start pooling resources here to put a stop to this

The scammer to funder ratio in this industry is like 10:1 these day.
So sad and scary.

I wouldn't call that a scam, I'd call that a bait and switch.

Like the email I just got from South Shore Funding (southshorefunding.net) promising an MCA consolidation 12-60 months "starting" at 5.99% APR. I can't get a non-bank secured real estate 30-year mortgage done at less than 6% these days, rates have literally gone up 1% in the last month. (0 APR business/personal credit cards you can do, but that's not for MCA clients.)
