Federal bank holidays in 2021 cause some confusion
***More importantly
ACHWorks will process your ACH transactions on Christmas Eve and New Year’s Eve 2021
Important News
When a National Holiday falls on a Saturday, the Federal Reserve will remain open on the Friday previously and ACH transactions will be processed.
For example: December 25th is a National Holiday. The Federal Reserve and the Automated Clearing House are open on December 24th for 2021. Some banks and some processors will choose to be closed on Christmas Eve and New Year’s Eve, thereby not process your transactions.
***However, you will be able to connect to your ACHWorks API or the ACHWorks Virtual Terminal as you normally would. And you can process your credit and debit transactions. Processing times will remain the same as any other day.
Call us and see how we can help you and your business.
ACHWorks has been involved in the Automated Clearing House (ACH) Electronic Fund Transfer (EFT) business since 1993. In that time, we have processed billions of dollars in transaction volume.
ACHWorks was strategically created to target small to medium sized businesses, recognizing the value of providing ACH services to a sector of the business population overlooked by most ACH providers.
