It is only a matter of time before Square aligns with a funding provider unless they do it on their own. Square and Groupon have been doing a lot of snooping around.

Square caters to really, REALLY small businesses though, so it should make too much of a dent. I mean, is the extra $2-3K in processing really going to help that much?

Square might have a large following with the really really small merchants but that was just their segue into the mainstream market. They are a real player in the brick and mortar POS market now too and go after all types of merchants regardless of size.
