LinkedIn Marketing
Has anybody here had any success getting deals done on LinkedIn?
1 of the many courses I have bought over the years pitches that as a way to get massive success and I am not getting squat out of it.

IMO - I've made a few direct contacts that have had some value, but,
for the most part it is over-hyped. I have over 12,000 "Connections" which does not mean a hill of beans
Like most business -social media platforms, they do not produce much in the way of real business.Dave Lambert, Business Development

I've found that it's really good for connecting with the right people but you have to be VERY clear about what you're looking for and how you express it.
The secondary component is using some type of automation, either through writing a program (I know someone doing this for business funding), or using overseas.

Everlasting Capital claims it's horrible:

Most of the people who I know who are successful (or claim to be successful) with LinkedIn are consultants who are branding experts who are (more or less) churning LinkedIn to convince people that they can be successful on LinkedIn. As far as actual business for myself, I'm actually finding DMs vs emails for other brokers and relationships who I can introduce to programs that I make overrides by introducing them to. Also, direct clients who I do speak to I tell them, "Look my up on LinkedIn, I'm a real person."

If you had a small inkling of security and privacy - you also would not be posting your mug shot all over the Internet.
I could post hundreds of stories regarding ID Theft, Data Breaches (which occur on a daily basis) - you would take your own privacy more seriously.

I've done business for years without posting my picture on the Internet
In fact I was conducting business prior to the Internet and if we did not have
bandwidth tomorrow I would still close deals.
