Stacking - How much do ISO's care?

    Hey all,

I'm new to these forums and am looking to put together a white paper on stacking in the industry. My company, ProMED Healthcare Financing is a direct lender that looks to avoid stacking at all costs by paying off other lenders to ensure longevity of a business.

But really, do ISO's care about this practice? Does it weigh in a decision at all? Just looking for some opinions to determine how to best put together information on it.

    Thanks all.

There are plenty of ISO's that do care, however as you get thrust into more situations where merchant is looking for more money, or another shop reached out with an additional offer and you are afraid to lose the deal you start making exceptions and eventually you start becoming numb to the situation by justifying it and tell yourself, this is the industry...everyone does it...
Not the best situation but we are at a point where I believe we are to far down that road.
If you are an ISO that can maintain its scruples good for you, however you may come to realize pretty quickly that sometimes you do not have a choice.

just an FYI...2nd source funding originated (I was head of Business Development) Over 12,000 funding deals... a few years later when management ran the data on the book/portfolio they found 65% of the merchants were NO LONGER in business that's correct (listen up prior to a merchant EVER getting a 2nd position) the vast majority went out of business. I would be happy to discuss this on the phone.
