I can respect the liability the forum might have in the event someone went after a user for Slander/Defamation. However, those should only be a problem in the event things are published that are false. In that case, the user should be held liable for making false statements about a merchant. But if they are posting a true account of what they experienced, no matter how damaging it is to that businesses reputation it is not illegal. So if somebody gets mad at a merchant for declining their offer and they blast them on the forum, it could go very bad for them. If this was something that were ever adopted by the forum, maybe there should be a requirement to "prove" what you are posting before it can be actually posted.
