Is this file fraud
I got an inbound call from a woman claiming to be a doctor and everything added up. However, when she sent in her bank statements they seemed to just have names of restaurant food dishes in the deposit section.
What are your thoughts? Is this fraud or am I missing something?

They have historically been thrown up in a similar fashion as you are right here. However I think it would be a good addition to the makeup of the forum if there was a dedicated thread, or section for these fraudulent merchants. I know there have been many folks in agreement with this statement. It would be a great resource for the entire community in my opinion...

It is a slippery slope to publicly assert that someone or something is fraud, especially if you're talking about your own customers. Is this not something you can report to datamerch?

I can respect the liability the forum might have in the event someone went after a user for Slander/Defamation. However, those should only be a problem in the event things are published that are false. In that case, the user should be held liable for making false statements about a merchant. But if they are posting a true account of what they experienced, no matter how damaging it is to that businesses reputation it is not illegal. So if somebody gets mad at a merchant for declining their offer and they blast them on the forum, it could go very bad for them. If this was something that were ever adopted by the forum, maybe there should be a requirement to "prove" what you are posting before it can be actually posted.
Or, use Datamerch lol
