The problem with start ups is the actual start date. Merchants will always tell you the business will open on X date...then there are inspectors who are late, deliveries that didn't come in, maintenance that needs to bring place up to code, etc. OF COURSE, the merchant expects you to forgo payments until they actually open their doors.
and that seems to NEVER happen when they say it does

The best way to go about start ups is:
1. Make sure they have a business plan
2. Make sure they are incorporated
3. Get them into a business location with a lease in place
4. Ship them off to a Micro Lender for the first round of funding
5. Re visit in 3-4 months, if volume is over 10k per month you can get a 5k starter loan from New Logic and Rapid Advance. I think Merchant Cash Group also has a starter program but I am not sure because New Logic funds most of mine.
Hope this helps everyone monetize their leads!!!
That is about all you can do with them unless they have assets and you get the borrower hard money.
