What should every MCA shop be selling alongside working capital????

    In your opinion .........

What do you believe are the core products a MCA ISO shop should be selling alongside their working capital offering -- and if they're not they are fools and leaving major money on the table.

and what products should they have in their toolbox is MCA doesn't work for your client.

The hardest part about a cross-sell is that it somewhat ruins your brand.

If you're a true broker and not just a simple MCA dealer... er... I mean salesman, then you're gonna have a lot of options from the first moment on the phone, and hone in on a product that makes sense to the client to be a matchmaker. So you're going to want to be well-versed in all types of "working capital" and not just Band-Aids that are known as MCAs. LOCs, factoring, real estate finance, equipment finance, SBAs, and other creative senior and junior debt.

In theory, you're always leaving money on the table by not selling them milk. But your brand isn't milk. So leading with an MCA and "following up" with a different product just seems ingenuine to me and will confuse clients. If you're a "trusted advisor", then you can help them meet their funding goal without having to push an MCA. Yes, it does take other funding mechanisms to do that. The attitude of "What do you believe are the core products a MCA ISO shop should be selling" doesn't let you be successful "selling" much else.

The original MCA Product (credit card split) was based upon the merchant's monthly credit card processing volume.

If a merchant want to eliminate lock box fees and 1 day delay in funding and is willing to switch processors, it benefits
the sales pro to have that option in his/her pocket. Also, build residual income for the rep.

For some sales pro's it does make sense to be a Master of 1 - Just depends on how person's wheels turn.
