I know this is difficult to answer but i'll put it out there. What is a rough idea of applications sent out and applications rec'd?/ My friend called a bunch of people and sent out 10 applications, what as a general rule is a rough estimate of the outcome of these 10 applications?

That question is impossible to answer because it depends on the lead source your using.. Different lead sources will have different conversion rates

If your friend cold called people and sent out 10 apps, you'll be lucky to get back 1-2 apps. If your friend called "warm" leads, you should get back 4-5 apps.

The question you should be asking is how many deals will be converted out of X complete sets of docs. Docs are worthless unless your clients have been pre-conditioned and have realistic expectations.
