For me? Who is GCP and why would I know them? The ONLY thing I know about Roslyn, NY is that is where both Steve Sheinbaum and Mitch Levy of MCC fame live...

They changed their name to Next Wave Funding and closed their Long Island office, but I don't think they changed any of their funding programs so I don't see them being around for much longer.

Sounds like they are trying to rebrand as a newco to get business. i dont see how any company with a cookie cutter model of funding can last. the competition is fierce, merchants shop alot more these days, and the established co's have a tight grip on production ISOs already with deep rooted relationships and/or sponsorship capital to sink their teeth into those ISO's long term. I think we can all agree the efforts of email blasts by funders to brokers saying if you fund $1M in a month you can win a car (cough-bs), or, some other ridiculous pitch doesnt work anymore for the masses reselling this today.

Does anyone even File UCC's anymore?

Of course they do, but there is a greater tendency these days to use a shell corp for filing so that UCC hunters don't find them. Also, some UCC Filing companies will actually put themselves down as the secured party for a fee and then sign some backwards contract with the funder where they are the designated agent of the real secured party. That really throws UCC hunters off but it also confuses the heck out of competing underwriters, competing funders, and lawyers.

Of course they dont in my opinion and yes i am well aware of that they had been doing that for a long time. and i think they might file the UCC but the crap deals that they did once and they want to get it out of there hand like i dont think you will find the names of business that yellowstone funded the 700k to and and rapids 7 figure deal....
