Man, if I told you how many people called me asking if they should jump on this thread and defend me, you'd understand. I ONLY work with ISO's that were true partners. If they decided the 15% upsell was warranted, who am I to tell them not to upsell. That was what the market required. 15% upsells. So I did it. Knowing sure well that upsell could be the difference between the deal being affordable or not. In some cases, I'd cap the upsell because I was sure the merchant couldn't afford it, and would end up almost splitting the profit on the whole deal with the ISO/syndicate partner.

Let's not get it twisted. Korchak does 1.47s too (not just 1.42s) and he's suing those same merchants for breaching their agreements with his company...during the shutdowns...and then adding fees on top. Then he goes on youtube and says a long time ago he cried when he found out an imaginary merchant named bob was actually a real person and how upon learning bob's life story he decided he would not enforce a judgment. Months later he not only sues merchants during a nationwide pandemic for "breaches," he then lectures his competitors about what's predatory and what's not. He says he left the business, but he didn't. He's too busy filing lawsuits in between his videos to get his 1.4x + fees back. Please tell us more Mr. Korchak sir about why you don't understand why this is happening to you.

Primary Capital is open and servicing it's syndicate partners, ISO's and merchants, but will not being doing MCA anymore, or any financing in general, until after the election, potentially as long as inauguration day, and either we pivot to a new product that we find more acceptable for our money, and/or MCA reforms.

And yes, we are filing lawsuits against merchants who went completely dark on us, no communication via cell, business phone, home phone, and email for 3 months. Should I just let our money sit out there because I decided I didn't want to do "NEW" MCA deals?!

It doesn't look good to bully someone on a public forum that displays who we are as an industry to pretty much anyone and everyone. He had some worries about MCA that he wanted to get off his chest and out into the world through a podcast/youtube. His concerns were bound to come up as a topic of discussions at some point in this industry anyway. I appreciate that he feels that something is off about MCA because I feel like that too. I don't think that hes purposely trying to make anyone look bad and hopefully some kind of middle ground can be found. To any merchants, funders, brokers, investors, etc... who are reading this thread; Be happy knowing that as unregulated as we are, we are always trying to find the best solutions for every party involved in an MCA product.

I believe I understand what you’re trying to do/communicate but I think you should have someone else doing the writing on your behalf, especially if this is going to be a long term production.

Your posts are a bit convoluted, they emphasize the wrong points, and they mimic a defensive tone which is not what I think you’re trying to convey.

The way you’re answering questions comes off as you deflecting and avoiding, even though you are answering the questions. There’s a lot of negative back and forth because your answers need to be shorter and more concise, get to the point with less info.

I Believe I understand what you’re trying to accomplish, it’s more of a literary challenge you’re having.

At the growth speed of this thread, you’re on pace to overtake the previous daily funder Guinness book of world records thread, starring Marcus Clapman.

I’ve always been known as an “Over Explainer” lol. I take everything you said as a full constructive opinion, and will try and do better with content preparation and direct topics, with more points and less explanation. Truly appreciate the response, Franklin.

I feel like this thread is a great example of what MCA is. If we were an industry full of high integrity and business oriented people, we would all be willing to examine the negative aspects of MCA. The fact that everyone immediately went into a response of "**** you David you piece of ****!!!" and "OH MY GOSH DON'T EVER BRING THESE TOPICS OF DISCUSSION UP" might just summarize every single little thing that's wrong with MCA.

If you truly believe that you are in a business that helps merchants, you wouldn't have to be so defensive when someone questions your morals. This is 1000000000000000% the reason that I believe we need regulation from someone who can see both sides of the story.

regulation? MCA is currently non existent esp if the government keep giving out money for free to these businesses

will be 6-9 months before things get back to semi normal activity and by then the bad actors will have found a new hustle to fullfill their cocaine and hooker addictions

How dare you. Don't you understand that some of these folks have restitution and garnishments to manage from prior financial crimes? You can't cut off or attack their hope to earn a buck. Get in line people, no honest discussion permitted.

    Dave,

Commendable work you're attempting to accomplish. I think a lot of people on this forum are a tad nervous based on your commentary. I don't think they should be worried if they don't engage in unethical or criminal activities.

    Keep up the good work!

I officially admit to being 100% wrong about every single thing I said on this thread. This guy had a chance to exploit a lot of bull**** in this industry and instead he literally let a bunch of people addicted to cocaine who make a **** ton of money scamming people or bankrupting businesses bully him into shutting up. AND IT SOMEHOW WORKED.

This is 100% what it looks like when you're a failure in this industry. I'm sorry for being so wrong.

Because I don't want this screenshotted or brought up to me again, I will respond.

Hi! It's Amanda. Firstly, thank you for having me relive this as I tried very much so to bury it. I'm glad it did because it helped me realize this. I am still here. I never left. My reasoning and goal behind my "why" of where I took my career was still the same I have today. I am very much against the bs and only want to surround myself and work with people who see my value and appreciate who I AM. Now, there may have been times over the years that I was used, swindled, and betrayed, but I have to let go. I learned, I innovated the ways I worked with people and I learned to cut toxic out of my life. I know my worth and I know what I am capable of.

That being said, AFN was my original "idea" - domain - and design from the pornhub meets buzzfeed theme to the ORIGINAL content that was supposed to be initiated by a well led team. AFN: Alternative Finance News was supposed to be of that. News and updates that pertained to the small businesses that are being affected by economic issues and the connection to financing. Where the other alternative topics and questionable guests and segments came from... that wasn't up to me at that point. I gave up the domain and all the creative/intellectual rights up (along with moving to another State for it) in the hands of another Company/Person. Since COVID was happening and since the scarcity of "funding" was looming... it only made sense to finally going with my ideas and brilliant marketing concepts... right? I digress...

The time of confusion and anger and the abrupt realization that it was all crashing like a fire train was obvious and I broke out in hives everyday for entire month. Even shelled out $200 for urgent care just for them to tell me I had an allergy. Turns out, I was stressed af and I realized that I was being dragged under someone else conscious decision to become ... woke. Worst time of my life. So again, thanks for letting me know this is all still here, lol.

Since then, I moved a lot and got my **** together with the people I work and surround myself with. The journey in working in MCA is a b**** for a lot of good people. I'm blessed to know many of them. My Company has always been "The Confident Broker" - not a Broker* I do marketing, design, and plug that part in for brokers who originate. I also make connections if you're a cool person. My standards are high and I refuse to lower them and because of this I am a sarcastic ... "pick your noun" .... and that is okay. I will always create, be myself, and take that in whatever chapter in life this leads me to.
