    Lightbulb ANOTHER Google Lead Loophole

I am excited to make this post because this is probably the most valuable information I've been able to offer you guys so far!

If you go on Google and type in; "business loans atlanta" or "atlanta business loans" - you will find a video below the fold (towards the bottom). The video is terrible. It's over 3:23 minutes long which can immediately cause merchants to become reticent. The video is a few "dislikes" from disappearing. Move in for the kill!

Google is starting to push it's Ad Words for video product more aggressively because being the data machine they are, they see video is the #1 form / tool for engagement. They realize that mobile is exploding and so it's quite tough to pack Ads + 7 Box listing on someones' smart phone screen. The next best thing to do is to display what they call "rich snippets" - which is what you see when you do the search I referenced above. This allows them to show you an ad when you click on a video. They'll monitor your behavior and if you watch all of the ad, you may see that same ad again, or more like it in the future. They are constantly testing stuff.

Google wants to show your video in search results for specific terms. However, they won't do it for you.

There are companies spending a ton on PPC, but they haven't saw to it to execute on the basics. Internet marketing 101 states that if your online presence is meant to generate leads to facilitate a conversation later; you do not link your pay per click advertisement to your website. You link it to your landing page. You can use the tried and tested templates on Unbounce to get a page up in minutes.

Nonetheless, let me show you exactly how to get your video to appear in Google.com search results - which amounts to Free pay per click advertising.

Wait. Let's think about this for a moment. Guys are paying $40 a click for top 3 positions on Google, when they simply can get videos to appear above the fold for $0 a click. People are more inclined to click on a video link before a pay per click ad. That's exactly why Google is shipping "rich snippets" (videos) with search results to support Google Ad Words for video in the first place!! Click Here for more details about video and its' effectiveness.

    This is a game changer.

This approach is EXACTLY what the guys in Atlanta did (except for the fact that their video is terrible). This rich snippet thing is ESPECIALLY powerful on mobile devices. Why? Would you rather watch a quick video on your iPhone, or read a bunch of words?

    Steps

    1. Get a video done.
    2. Title your video to contour the search term you are targeting - Check out the video you see for "atlanta business loans" on their You Tube page. Notice the title? It matches perfectly with that search term; "Atlanta business loans."
    3. Describe your video - Again, go back to that same video on YouTube and count how many times the term(s) "Atlanta business loans" appears in the description of the video.
    4. Tag your video - Tag your video with the same search terms you are using in your title and in your description.
    5. Include your landing page link in your listing - After the person watches the video, you want them on the phone with you, or you want them to leave their phone number. Here's what one little ISO is doing to out convert larger companies at a 3:1 clip.

There are a total of 7 million annual searches for "business loans" globally each year. While guys are investing heavily in PPC, you can "outsmart" them by being strong where they are weak. This is all very basic stuff. You can carbon copy this approach from city to city while there is no competition. EASY STUFF! My guess is that there will be competition soon!

Finally, you should know that the key to a great video is a great script. Your video should be less than 60 seconds long and accomplish the two C's, "connect" and "convert." So, when you shop for video services, you are not shopping for fancy graphics, you're shopping for copy-writing services. You can have the prettiest video on the planet with a sub par script and you'll end up like the guys in Atlanta.

Indeed! Mobile is exploding so they've gotta figure out how to sell more ads with limited screen real estate!
