How did the MCA industry perform after the 2008 bubble popped?

Is this a counter-cyclical business where tight credit markets create opportunity for MCA?

things got a little tighter form a funding perspective, but the applications went through the roof. That was also the launch of the premium deals, as "higher quality" merchants who previously went to commercial banks came a calling.

This is also when the starter deals came about. 1st Merchant Funding was the first to adapt this program, I believe

Something like..."Babe we need to list with Corcoran ASAP...,grab the kids and call ABC Carpet to see if they'll buy back the Persian Rug."

Maybe Joseph will have to freak out like that, but just like the dot com bubble of 1999-2000 and the more recent real estate and financial bubble, those people who are doing the right business and not playing with a house of cards.....may see a dip in income, but will still be there for the long haul.

Everyone else? they'll be the lemmings off to the next apparent get rich quick scheme
