I’d be down for a group where each guy puts the name of the deals he’s working on that week, and all on the group respect and don’t steal those deals.

That would be bad. As whatsapp groups go, if its above 20 members be sure to loose deals.
I'm not 100% sure what types of discussions would be had on such a platform, but the group can be selective and used for good. Common sense is advised, if someone posts a deal, its on him. It might be good to get asap answers on a tricky file. It may be good for UW type questions. It may be good for default merchants or bad isos that double, tripple and quadruple fund you.

There is good to be had i would say.
